If you been following me on my Instagram account (@aprildilao) probably you already know that I went to Fleming’s Metaire Exclusive Media Preview few weeks ago where we had a chance to experience their full three-course dinner paired with curated wines from the Fleming’s 100®, a unique collection of 100 wines by the glass. I also had a chance to meet some of the influencers in town, words can’t even give justice how grateful I am to be invited to this exclusive event and I actually brought Keith with me because I know for a fact that he love steak A LOT! When we got there their employees welcomed us with champagne, sangria’s & their signature cocktails. They also had sea food bar prepared for everyone while jazz band was playing. It was a fun night full of good food and amazing people! Good news y’all, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is finally open to the public, they recently open it to the public on October 30, 2017 and will soon be the newest fine dining destination in Metairie, offering a one-of-a-kind steak experience with the finest cuts available – USDA Prime and Certified Angus beef – and a wide selection of sizes and cuts, aged a minimum of 21 days.
Founded on the premise that a steakhouse can be sophisticated, yet comfortable, Fleming’s offers an engaging ambiance and lively environment, where you can enjoy great food and fine wine with family and friends. The restaurant’s award-winning wine program centered on the Fleming’s 100®, features an expertly curated list of 100 wines available by the glass or bottle. Fleming’s also features signature, hand-crafted cocktails, including the Blueberry Lemon Drop and Old Cuban. From light and refreshing flavors to strong and aromatic tastes, there’s a cocktail at Fleming’s that will excite every guest’s palate.
Weekday lunch brings a mouthwatering array of salads, sandwiches and flatbreads, including Fleming’s Butcher’s Cut Salad with mâche, watercress, chèvre, fresh apples, raisins, toasted marcona almonds and cabernet vinaigrette and the New England Lobster Roll with North Atlantic lobster, crisp celery and lemon-infused mayonnaise on a grilled brioche roll. Fleming’s lunch offerings are available Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The bar opens at 4:00 p.m., offering an array of bar a la carte selections, including the Prime Burger and the Prime Rib Dip. As guests enter the new 7,226 sq. ft. restaurant’s stunning glass storefront, they are warmly greeted with vaulted ceilings and a clear view of the 12-foot high, glass-walled red wine room filled with 1,400 bottles of hand selected wines from around the world. The spacious main dining room can seat up to 215 guests and features a one-of-a-kind, eye-catching chandelier and view of the open kitchen. The bar offers a welcoming and open environment, featuring a communal design with a large overhead display that houses built-in TVs for viewing.
A multi-function Private Dining Room is also available for large functions, offering an 80” recessed TV with video conferencing capabilities. Whether hosting a small social gathering or large business functions, Fleming’s private dining offerings provide the perfect solution with thoughtfully curated menus and top-tier service. The restaurant also features a fully-covered convertible patio, perfect for a unique outdoor dining experience.
The new restaurant, led by Operating Partner Andy Captain and Chef Partner Pauly Dauterive, is located at 3064 N. Causeway Boulevard in the northwest corner of the Lakeside Mall parking lot.
